In a landmark event poised to redefine golfing excellence, the inaugural International Series Macau, proudly presented by Wynn Palace, adorned the lush greens of the Macau Golf and Country Club and the vibrant Golf Village at the Wynn Palace South Lawn from March 14th to 17th. This prestigious tournament, an elite-level Asian Tour golf tournament, promised a captivating display of talent alongside a rich tapestry of entertainment offerings. Marking a historic milestone, this event signifies the Asian Tour International Series’ debut to Macau and serves as the second event of the 2024 season. The high-profile tournament has drawn top-tier LIV Golf players, major winners and a myriad of golf superstars fromacross the globetocompeteinMacauforthe first time.

Responding to the exacting demands of the production team, SMP’s broadcast of the International Series Macau is meticulously crafted to elevate viewer engagement and immersion. Leveraging the HD 50i standard, our broadcast integrates cutting-edge technology, including the innovative “Tracer” system, to offer viewers enhanced clarity on player shot trajectories and an immersive viewing experience. Furthermore, a dedicated transmission line has been established from the broadcast area to the Wynn Palace, ensuring seamless access to real-time updates for remote spectators.
With only four days from venue setup to tournament commencement, SMP’s international broadcast team, fueled by a spirit of relentless dedication and precision, successfully executed the entire broadcast, delivering a riveting visual and auditory spectacle to audiences worldwide.

System Overview:
Our video system integrates the Evertz video matrix and SONY XVS7000 switcher, converging 12 wired channels, 4 wireless signals, and multiple production signals seamlessly into the program production, guaranteeing signal integrity with emergency switching panels.
Audio integration comprises two CL5 consoles and a variety of YAMAHA peripheral devices, facilitating streamlined deployment and operation through the DANTE protocol.
